Hi! I’m Faye

Stuff Made From Things Jewellery and Kovia Studios are the two sides of my creative output.

All pieces are individually made by me in my studio and a pottery in West Cornwall.

I have made Stuff Made From Things jewellery for over a decade and an half and enjoy using metals, hammering textures and creating stories with the jewellery. I use predominantly brass which has already typically been recycled 9 times before I work on it, it is an infinitely recyclable material, as is the sterling silver I use. 

Kovia Studios was created at an outlet for all the other things I enjoy making. I am interested in mythology, folklore, human stories and nature. I live in Cornwall, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and hundreds of Neolithic standing stones which fascinate me.
My degree many moons ago was in graphic art and illustration and it’s wonderful to play with glazes and drawing.

The word Kovia means cherish in Cornish

Currently my work is focusing on personal altars and spaces to celebrate one’s self and one’s journey. 

I’m looking forward to sharing my work with you
