These brass DUNE earrings have been given a patina using ancient, natural techniques which resembles the colour of sandstone or jasper.
The alchemy of creating patina is influenced both by the chemicals involved and the time taken for them to develop but also, heat and humidity, therefore each individual piece is utterly unique and organic. Please note that the earrings may differ slightly from those photographed.
They measure 4cm long and are hung on gold plated ear wires
The ephemeral nature of the metal and patinas means that over time they oxidise and change.
This piece has been finished with several coats of lacquer to protect it.
To prolong its wear do not let the pieces get wet or leave in damp, humid environments.
