These earrings have been patinated using heat which permanently changes the molecular composition of the metal, I have protected some parts of the design using borax which acts as a stop. They have then had a protective covering with museum grade polishing wax to protect the surface.
As they are all made separately by hand they all differ slightly so you may not receive a pair that looks exactly like those photographed.
